  • SimWorks: Wild Honey Handlebar

    , , ,

WILD HONEY BAR is updated from NITTO’s masterpiece, B135. The reach is 105 mm, the drop is 120 mm, and the shoulder is 7 mm up as a usual shape, but we change the clamp diameter to 31.8 mm and the material to Heated Aluminum.

A wide spread arm (the “kanji” for eight) is compatible with an aero bar as you already know from Smile Bar, since the shoulder part is up for a little bit and that makes your shoulder and elbow relax.

It seems that the reach is little bit long, but as it says above, you don’t feel that long to grab a bar and it’s because of the length of the reach, you can grab a bar easily. Smile Bar is for Mountain Bike, 29er, and Monster Cross, but Wild Honey Bar has a compact looks and it goes with Sportif, Cyclocross, Road, and Fixed Gear. Material: Heat Treated Aluminium Width: 410, 430, 450 & 470mm (centre - centre at ends) Center diameter: 31.8mm Bar diameter: 23.8mm Reach: 105mm Drop: 120mm Flare angle: 70deg. Colour: Silver & Black Attention: Skid proof and clear coating are applied as a final treatment on this item and the actual size is wider than the diameter on the each size description. Please be aware of the installation of the stem which has very severe inner diameter. *Only 470mm width comes with a matte/bead blasted finish for the area where you would typically wrap the bar with handlebar tape as the attached photos. *Other sizes come still the gloss finish but will be updated to a matte/bead blasted finish after all the inventory is gone.

    SimWorks: Little Nick Stealth Bar

    , , ,

A 10-year staple in the Simworks lineup of fine handlebar offerings, Little Nick has provided riders desiring a no-nonsense, sharp-lined, zero-rise flat bar with a more ergonomic perch for their hands, by way of a handsome 15-degree flare.

Flash forward from that origin bar and we're pleased to offer this updated alternative. The same characteristics that made the original Little Nick a favorite amongst cyclists, are transposed here in a slightly wider width of 750mm, and a larger bar clamp diameter of 31.8mm- a size more commonly seen with today's threadless stems, including our own Rhonda, Anne Lee and Caroline stems.

In addition to these new dimensions, 'Little Nick Stealth' is constructed of heat-treated Aluminum, anodized in a Simworks exclusive 'Stealth Grey'.

Slightly lighter in weight than the original Little Nick bar- which is constructed of Chromoly, you've now got a modernized handlebar option that will allow you to steer confidently under the radar.  Material: Heat Treated Aluminum Finishing: Stealth Grey Anodized Bar Clamp: 31.8 mm Width: 750 mm Rise: 0 mm Grip Angle: 15 deg. • Velo Orange Crazy Bar Handlebar

    , ,
The VO Crazy Bars are intended for touring on paved and unpaved roads, single and double track, gravel and crushed limestone, and everything in between. The main, swept back section provides excellent control and leverage on rough and tumble surfaces, while the the bullhorn section offers an aero position for smoother roads and headwinds. The junction of the horns and sweeps feels similar to being on the hoods of drop bars and makes for a nice, neutral position. The main bar uses a 22.2mm grip area so MTB grips, levers, and shifters fit. The "horns" are 23.8mm, so road components like bar ends and inverse levers are compatible. The stem clamp area is 31.8mm. Crazy Bars are made from 6061 aluminum and are heat treated. Weight is a reasonable 532g. They are MTB-rated and available in sand-blasted Silver and Noir. • Velo Orange: Seine Bar Handlebar

    , ,
The Seine Bar is an offroad-worthy riser bar featuring a super comfortable position with loads of real estate and leverage for long days in and out of the saddle. Straddling the line between touring and full-on MTB, these bars are wide - 780mm to be exact. This width allows you to select climbing lines with ease and navigate bumpy descents without drama. If they're too wide for your trail or your commute, they can still be cut down to really dial in your fit. The rise is a cool 40mm and sweep is 35°. So while these were mainly designed to satisfy off-road touring enthusiasts' mixed terrain needs, they are an excellent option for commuters and flat-bar gravel connoisseurs alike.  At 205mm in length, the grip area is more than enough for modern sized grips, brake levers, and shifters - and there is still room to cut down if they are too wide from the get-go. The clamp diameter is 31.8mm and the grip diameter is 22.2mm. Width: 780mm Sweep: 35° Grip area: 205mm Rise/drop: 40mm Stem clamp diameter: 31.8mm Grip diameter: 22.2mm Weight: 443g Material: Aluminum Alloy MTB approved Bead-blast finish in Silver and Noir

  • Velo Orange: Nouveau Randonneur Bar Handlebar

    , ,
With comfortable fit characteristics such as shorter reach, shallow drop, and a mellow backsweep, the Nouveau Randonneur Handlebar is optimally designed for long days and nights for riders using integrated shifters and aero brake levers. The tops are ovalised and swept back ever so slightly from the stem clamp. This makes for a bigger area upon which your hands can rest. A wider palm base means road vibrations and impacts are distributed better and not centralised into a specific spot effectively reducing hand, wrist, and elbow fatigue. Additionally, the sweep lends itself better (than a straight top) to your hands' natural resting position. The ramps are 105mm in length (measured from the centre of the bend to the edge of the ramp). This gives enough real estate for a full hand's worth of a position behind the hood for cruising, but short enough to easily reach the hood for shifting, braking, and out of the saddle efforts. Measuring traditionally (from the centre of the stem clamp to the furthest edge of the brake lever hood mount) the reach is 85mm. The 128mm worth of drop is casual and the 12 degree worth of flare makes for terrific cornering stability and prevents your forearms from hitting the bars during punchy efforts or obstacle negotiation. The Nouveau Randonneur Bar is available in three sizes (measured centre to centre at the hood): 42cm, two finishes: High-Polished Silver and Smooth Noir, and accepts standard road components such as integrated shifters, aero brake levers, and bar-end shifters. Widths (measured centre-to-centre at the hoods): 42cm Backsweep: 5 degrees Ramp length: 105mm Traditional reach: 85mm Drop: 128mm Stem clamp diameter: 31.8mm Brake lever clamp diameter: 23.8mm Weight (44cm): 301g
