    The Pass Hunter is the speediest of our offerings and is designed for light-packing adventures over mountain passes, Sport Touring, and even the weekend club ride! While this may look like a traditional randonneur, don't let that elegant Cool Blue and nostalgic 80's Burgundy paint and metallic logos fool you. This frameset is packed with modern design and features. The wishbone rear triangle is a Velo Orange custom arrangement. By simplifying the connection points, it makes the rear end light and springy for optimal power transfer. The main triangle uses an oversized 35.0mm downtube and a standard 28.6 top tube. It makes the bike planted, comfortable, and with flex in all the right places. Lastly, the front end. The headtube is tapered to allow the use of aftermarket carbon forks that are available such as Rodeo Labs and Whisky, along with many others that fit into the "utili-fork" genre. The steel fork offered with the frameset has an axle-crown of 393mm with 51mm of rake.

    The Riff is our hardtail frame for 27.5"/650b wheels. (It replaces the B-Side model) While the B-Side showed our tendency of not following the latest trends, the Riff is pretty modern in geometry and features. Tough IRD Broski Sliding Dropouts allow you to go single-speed or geared or even run hub gears. Also new is internal seat tube dropper post routing. A modified chainstay allows fitting even some double cranks with "plus size" 2.8" wide tires without needing to invest in Boost parts. Additionally the Riff is available in a belt-drive ready version.

    The SL42 rim is the original 42mm high rim that took over a year to develop. Like Formation Face, SL42 owes its stiffness and aerodynamics to 42mm profile height. The two models share the same lightness, reduced to around 615 grams (plus or minus 15 grams) using the G609 aluminum alloy which is also 30 percent stronger than the 6061 aluminum alloy used in standard rim manufacture. SL42 features a machined side wall for use with rim brakes.

    Rene Herse: 650B x 42 Pumpkin Ridge TC Tire

    The ultimate dual-purpose tyre offers excellent performance and cornering on paved roads, yet its large knobs dig into the surface when it gets slippery. We distributed the knobs so that the tyre always is supported by the same amount of rubber, whether it’s rolling forward or leaning into a turn. This gives you uniform grip at all times – whether on a muddy cyclocross course or during a paved descent with ultra-fast hairpin turns. We name our tyres after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that inspire them: Pumpkin Ridge near Portland, Oregon, has a number of promising dirt spurs heading toward the Tualatin Mountains. Past explorations failed to reveal a connection, because we bogged down in mud. The Pumpkin Ridge tyres excel both on the paved approach and on the muddy trails up the ridge.     Our goal was to make a ‘tubeless’ tire at this time. We also had tons of requests from our customers at NAHBS 2017. By researching the market, we put all those voices into the design. As you can see on the side of the tire, it shows the words of ‘Tubeless Compatible’. For 700c model, we use zylon which is stronger than usual aramid for a tire bead. A higher air pressure tubeless tire (650kPa / 95 psi).

    On the sidewall, we use gumwall material. Since most of the people who do bike touring told us, “We have problem with a usual tire that the sidewall gets torn up easily”. We know that a light tire is much more comfortable, but once you find out that it’s torn up, then you won’t be able to continue your journey at all.     WILD HONEY BAR is updated from NITTO’s masterpiece, B135. The reach is 105 mm, the drop is 120 mm, and the shoulder is 7 mm up as a usual shape, but we change the clamp diameter to 31.8 mm and the material to Heated Aluminum.

    A wide spread arm (the “kanji” for eight) is compatible with an aero bar as you already know from Smile Bar, since the shoulder part is up for a little bit and that makes your shoulder and elbow relax.

    It seems that the reach is little bit long, but as it says above, you don’t feel that long to grab a bar and it’s because of the length of the reach, you can grab a bar easily.     With comfortable fit characteristics such as shorter reach, shallow drop, and a mellow backsweep, the Nouveau Randonneur Handlebar is optimally designed for long days and nights for riders using integrated shifters and aero brake levers. The tops are ovalised and swept back ever so slightly from the stem clamp. This makes for a bigger area upon which your hands can rest. A wider palm base means road vibrations and impacts are distributed better and not centralised into a specific spot effectively reducing hand, wrist, and elbow fatigue. Additionally, the sweep lends itself better (than a straight top) to your hands' natural resting position.     "For urban use, commuting, touring, and light off-roading, the Sabot definitely delivers the goods." - GravelBike.com Many VO staffers like large pedals, so we wanted to produce a high quality large-platform pedal that would be comfortable even when riding in thin soled shoes. We tested them in minimalist running shoes, leather dress shoes, hiking shoes, and even sandals. Of course this style of pedal is great for urban riding, but we see other uses, too. More and more bike packers, long distance tourists, and adventure cyclists are riding with big BMX style pedals, and these make a more refined alternative. The two-sided platform is a CNC-cut aluminum extrusion. It has loads of real estate to eliminate pressure points and all - approximately 100mm wide and 100mm long. There are 12 replaceable traction pins on each side of the pedal to offer great grip even when wet. We include rounded pins with the pedals so as not to damage street shoes, but they are easily replaced with more aggressive sharp pins. Most existing pedals with large platforms use either loose ball bearings or are designed for BMX or downhill riding and use durable, but stiff, bushings. We designed a chromoly spindle that uses three sealed bearings, two inboard and one outboard. This makes for a very smooth pedal; it feels like a high-end road pedal, and the bearings are easy to replace. Weight is 408g per pair. Uses 6mm hex (Allen wrench) as well as flats (15mm pedal wrench) for easy installation and removal.     Velo Orange: Flat Pack Rack

    The Velo Orange Flat Pack Rack is designed to be super strong and adaptable, allowing it to be neatly mounted on nearly any bike with rack mounts on the fork blades.  Adjustability is accomplished by employing sliding stays and darumas to dial in the position and level of the rack. With so many forks out there riddled with eyelets and holes for low-riders and 3-pack mounts, you can choose where the rack will mount. The platform is known as a “demi-porteur”. Its size is somewhere between a full Porteur and traditional Randonneur front rack. The main benefit to the demi-porteur style is better stabilization for large Randonneur Handlebar Bags as well as better support for baskets and large, bikepacking bags. The uprights are removable and can be interchanged between a decaleur receiver for a Randonneur-style handlebar bag and a tombstone loop for a basket or other luggage. When disassembled, it can fold almost completely flat - which is really useful for travel where space is at a premium.  The Flat Pack Rack mounts to the fork crown using a little do-dad we call a Foot. This beefy mount sits flat against the fork crown and is also mounted to a daruma-style receiver, so it can slide up or down and in and out depending on your clearance needs. The lower portion of the stays are curved in such a way that they can mount flush on the side of your fork's blades. Additionally, the front of the rack features a braze-on for a light mount. The kit includes all the hardware you need to install the rack on most bikes: Four aluminum alloy stays - use two for a weight capacity of 12 lbs or use all four for a weight capacity of up to 17 lbs. The advantage to this system is: your bag-decaleur-rack combination is more solid, lighter, and less likely to rattle.     Velo Orange: Cigne Stem

    The Cigne Stem gets its name from the French word for swan. The shape is inspired by the old gooseneck LD stems by Ibis and Cunningham, but with a few accommodations for modern bike needs. 1 1/8" threadless and 31.8mm handlebar clamp with a removable faceplate. With 145mm of vertical height from the base of the stem to the centre of the clamp, it's pretty useful for getting your handlebars up high without using a ton of spacers. Available in High Polish, Nickel, and Noir.     These two-bolt seat posts have a generous 30mm of setback, among the longest ever. This is very important for those who ride leather saddles that often have little fore-and-aft adjustment due to the short rails. The VO seatpost is internally ovalized to reduce weight to 301g. The adjustment is from the bottom, and the two-bolt design makes it easy to precisely adjust the seat angle. Also note that the head is integral with the post, not pressed on as on many modern posts. This makes them stronger and lighter. 27.2mm only x 300mm. Maximum height (above the min. insert line) is about 23cm. Weight for the seat post is 282 gr.
