  • Wald: Folding Basket

    , ,

Bicycle baskets are the definition of functionality. By simply clamping a bicycle basket to your handlebar or rack, you can easily carry more stuff to and from where ever you may be pedaling. You keep your hands where they belong and can balance the new weight appropriately.

They can even help impact your wallet by saving money on gas when running errands. Bicycle baskets help your health by getting you to exercise instead of hopping in the car for a short trip. By using a bicycle basket, you also get the peace of mind bicycling provides. You gain some simple time to yourself while you travel from point A to B giving you time to think or notice some details you simply sped past before. Made in the USA

    Rene Herse 29″ x 2.2″ (700c x 55) Fleecer Ridge TC Tyre

    , ,
The ultimate tyre for bike-packing and gravel adventures – and recipient of Bikepacking.com’s coveted ‘Gear of the Year’ award for the ‘Best New Component.’ Developed together with bike-packing legend Lael Wilcox, the Fleecer Ridge measures 29″ x 2.2″ (or 700C x 55 mm), making it a perfect fit for bike-packing bikes. We name our tyres after the passes that inspire them: Fleecer Ridge is the toughest climb on the incredible Tour Divide that traverses the Rocky Mountains from Canada to the Mexican border. On a ride that long, you’ll need a tyre that can handle a huge range of conditions, from deep snow and mud via fast gravel to pavement as you descend into towns to resupply. The Fleecer Ridge grips like a knobby when conditions get tough. On pavement, it rolls like a slick tyre thanks to its large and strategically placed knobs that don’t squirm and always put the same amount of rubber on the road. The Fleecer Ridge is the world’s first bicycle tyre with noise cancellation: The staggered tread blocks create overlapping noise frequencies that partially cancel each other. This feature is so revolutionary that we’ve patented it. The Standard casing is our more affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level. The Endurance casing is reinforced for extra sidewall protection and puncture resistance, while retaining the speed and comfort for which Rene Herse tyres are famous. The Endurance Plus casing provides the ultimate in sidewall protection for extremely tough conditions. The Fleecer Ridge is tubeless-compatible. For tubeless setup, we recommend SealSmart sealant. When used with tubes, we recommend the SV19 or SV19A tubes. Made in Japan.

Rene Herse: 700c x 48 Oracle Ridge TC Tyre

    , ,
A road-centric knobby? A dirt-ready road tyre? You decide! At 48 mm wide, the Oracle Ridge hits the sweet spot between narrow gravel tyre (38 mm) and mountain bike volume (55 mm) – ideal for the latest generation of gravel and all-road bikes. We’ve developed the Oracle Ridge together with bikepacking legend Lael Wilcox, and we’ve named it after one of Lael’s favorite routes: Oracle Ridge is a beautiful gravel climb outside Tucson, AZ, which connects to the backside of Mount Lemmon for an ultra-fast descent on pavement. On the gravel climb, this tyre grips tenaciously thanks to its large and widely spaced knobs. On the descent, it corners like a slick thanks to its large and strategically placed knobs that don’t squirm and always put the same amount of rubber on the road. The Oracle Ridge features our patented noise cancellation technology: The staggered tread blocks create overlapping noise frequencies that partially cancel each other. The Oracle Ridge’s speed, grip and lack of noise make you forget you’re riding a knobby – until you hit some loose or muddy ground and appreciate the extra grip. The Oracle Ridge is tubeless-compatible. For tubeless setup, we recommend SealSmart sealant. When used with tubes, we recommend the SV19 or SV19A tubes. Made in Japan.

Rene Herse 700C x 38 Barlow Pass TC Tyre

    , , ,
The Barlow Pass is the sweet spot for most all-road bikes. We name our tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that inspire them: Barlow Pass is near the ghost town of Monte Cristo in the northern Cascades. Our Barlow Pass is the perfect tire for rides that combine equal portions of pavement and gravel: light enough so your bike retains the nimble feel of a road bike, yet 38 mm wide to give you amazing traction on pavement and off. The Standard casing is our more affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level. The Endurance casing is reinforced for extra sidewall protection and puncture resistance, while retaining the speed and comfort for which Rene Herse tires are famous. • Rene Herse: 650B x 48 Juniper Ridge TC Tyre

    , ,
The ultimate 650B adventure tyre is designed for rides where you don’t know what lies ahead. Juniper Ridge is a rough trail on the Dark Divide in the centre of the Cascade Mountains. To reach this remote destination, you want a fast tyre that gets you there. When you’re actually climbing Juniper Ridge, you need excellent grip and ample volume to cope with the rugged nature of this trail. The Juniper Ridge’s large knobs don’t squirm and offer excellent performance and cornering on paved roads, yet they are spaced widely to dig into the surface when it gets slippery. The tread self-cleans as the tyre rotates. You have to ride these tyres to believe how fast they roll and how well they corner! The Juniper Ridge is tubeless-compatible. For tubeless setup, we recommend SealSmart sealant. When used with tubes, we recommend the SV13 or SV14A tubes. Made in Japan.

Rene Herse: 650B x 42 Pumpkin Ridge TC Tire

    , ,
The ultimate dual-purpose tyre offers excellent performance and cornering on paved roads, yet its large knobs dig into the surface when it gets slippery. We distributed the knobs so that the tyre always is supported by the same amount of rubber, whether it’s rolling forward or leaning into a turn. This gives you uniform grip at all times – whether on a muddy cyclocross course or during a paved descent with ultra-fast hairpin turns. We name our tyres after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that inspire them: Pumpkin Ridge near Portland, Oregon, has a number of promising dirt spurs heading toward the Tualatin Mountains. Past explorations failed to reveal a connection, because we bogged down in mud. The Pumpkin Ridge tyres excel both on the paved approach and on the muddy trails up the ridge. The Standard casing is our more affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. The Extralight casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level. The Pumpkin Ridge is tubeless-compatible. For tubeless setup, we recommend SealSmart sealant. When used with tubes, we recommend the SV12 or SV14A tubes. Made in Japan.

    Brooks Proofhide 50ml

    , ,
A new saddle should be treated with Brooks Proofide leather dressing to help assist the 'breaking-in' process. - Proofide keeps the leather supple as it is specially formulated from natural ingredients to condition, preserve and shower proof your saddle - Proofide is the only substance that should be used to care for your Brooks Leather Saddle Apply a little Proofide to the finished side of the leather - Allow the Proofide to permeate until dry and then polish off - Proofide should be used several times during the 'breaking-in' period and every 3-6 months thereafter - On bicycles not fitted with mudguards, an initial application to the underside of the saddle will be beneficial, this needs not to be polished off - The leather gets its colour during the tanning process and it is possible, therefore, that some colour residues will remain. It is recommended to polish the saddle with a soft cloth before first use
