Velo Orange: Polyvalent Low Kicker Frameset
Adventure Bikes, All Products, Bikes, FramesThe Polyvalent is Velo Orange’s “do-it-all” frameset. It is the ideal platform to build a sturdy tourer, practical commuter, comfortable all-day randonneur, or a rugged gravel bike. Tire clearance is generous. With fenders: 650b x 48 or 26 x 2.3” (smooth). Forgoing fenders, the Polyvalent can gobble up 650b x 2.1” or 26x2.3 (knobby). The graceful, swoopy top tube is what we call a Low-Kicker. While especially useful for easily mounting and dismounting with a loaded bike, the lowered top tube also makes the frequent getting on and off the saddle in urban environments more comfortable. Lastly, for those that have limited flexibility, it allows the rider to have a super practical and beautiful bike with modern touches and clearances - something that was, until now, significantly lacking. There are star reinforcements on nearly every braze-on on the frame and fork. The rear brake routing is internal and features super easy installation via a brazed in tube - no more fishing for the housing. The paint is a brilliant Metallic Sage. The rear end of the bike features dedicated rack and fender mounts. The fork has an elegant French-style bend that features braze-ons for a multitude of mounting options including: Rando-style front racks, side-mounted cargo cages, and low-rider pannier racks. Of course, it wouldn't be a Velo Orange frame without proper fender mounts that face the tire to create a perfect fender installation every time. Velo Orange: Pass Hunter Frameset

While this may look like a traditional randonneur, don't let that elegant Cool Blue and nostalgic 80's Burgundy paint and metallic logos fool you. This frameset is packed with modern design and features. The wishbone rear triangle is a Velo Orange custom arrangement. By simplifying the connection points, it makes the rear end light and springy for optimal power transfer. The main triangle uses an oversized 35.0mm downtube and a standard 28.6 top tube. It makes the bike planted, comfortable, and with flex in all the right places. Lastly, the front end. The headtube is tapered to allow the use of aftermarket carbon forks that are available such as Rodeo Labs and Whisky, along with many others that fit into the "utili-fork" genre. The steel fork offered with the frameset has an axle-crown of 393mm with 51mm of rake. Velo Orange: Nouveau Randonneur Handlebar
All Products, Cockpit, ComponentsWith comfortable fit characteristics such as shorter reach, shallow drop, and a mellow backsweep, the Nouveau Randonneur Handlebar is optimally designed for long days and nights for riders using integrated shifters and aero brake levers. The tops are ovalised and swept back ever so slightly from the stem clamp. This makes for a bigger area upon which your hands can rest. A wider palm base means road vibrations and impacts are distributed better and not centralised into a specific spot effectively reducing hand, wrist, and elbow fatigue. Additionally, the sweep lends itself better (than a straight top) to your hands' natural resting position. The ramps are 105mm in length (measured from the centre of the bend to the edge of the ramp). This gives enough real estate for a full hand's worth of a position behind the hood for cruising, but short enough to easily reach the hood for shifting, braking, and out of the saddle efforts. Measuring traditionally (from the centre of the stem clamp to the furthest edge of the brake lever hood mount) the reach is 85mm. The 128mm worth of drop is casual and the 12 degree worth of flare makes for terrific cornering stability and prevents your forearms from hitting the bars during punchy efforts or obstacle negotiation. The drops are long so you can slide you hands well back. The centre section is highly polished with a pair of Grand Cru Crests adorning the sides of the clamp area. Velo Orange: Model 3 Touring Saddle
All Products, Components, SaddlesVelo Orange saddles are made of the finest Australian cowhide. The frames are sturdy chrome plated steel. The midsection of the aprons are tied together underneath so the saddle won’t play out over time. The rivets are chrome plated and the edge of the skirt is skived. The rails are about 10mm longer than on Brooks saddles.
The Model 3 saddle is 170mm wide and 285mm in length. This is a size that most will find ideal for long distance touring and casual riding. It is particularly appropriate if your handlebars bars are set at, or above saddle height. Weight: 665g.

Velo Orange: Elkhide Chainstay Protector, Hand Cut
All Products, Bike Accessories, Components, Gadgets$20.00These are soft leather with a self-adhesive double-stick tape on the back. They match our elkhide sewn-on handlebar covers and toe clip leathers. They protect your paint from chain slap and give your bike a finished look. In decades past, constructeurs actually brazed on fittings over which a leather strip was stretched. Our elkhide strips are the next best thing. Like all of our elkhide leather goods, they are cut by hand in the US.
