SHIPPING AND EXCHANGES
All products bought online can be collected for free from our store. Select pickup in-store from the shipping methods. When collecting a bike in-store, it comes fully assembled by our experienced mechanic.
If you live overseas and would like to buy a Action Bicycle Club product please contact us separately to arrange the shipping.
Estimated dispatch & shipping times
In stock orders are usually dispatched within 1 to 2 working days (business days only). You will receive an email with tracking information once the order has been dispatched. Most products will be delivered New Zealand wide within 3-5 working days. Bulky goods such as bicycles may take longer than smaller items. Please let us know if your order does not arrive in a reasonable time and we will see if we can find out why.
Our courier may not require a signature on delivery of all orders. If you may not be home during delivery please leave delivery instruction at the checkout. Only give us an ‘authority to leave’ if you’re confident that the delivery will be safe. Large ticket items will require a signature on delivery otherwise, the courier can leave a ‘sorry we missed you’ card, allowing you to arrange re delivery.
Our bikes are like IKEA flat packs. It will arrive 85% assembled. The final assembly required includes the installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals and saddle, adjusting the brakes and tuning the gears. We recommend that the assembly is done by a qualified bike mechanic or other suitably qualified person. Damage caused by incorrect assembly (such as installing the pedals the wrong way around) is not covered by your warranty.
Please read our assembly manual for assembly instructions if you do choose to assemble a bike yourself.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Please choose carefully. Under the Consumer Guarentee Act we are not obliged to offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery cannot be returned.
If you purchased your goods in store bring in your item with your original receipt. Exchanges done in-store can be processed immediately.
If you purchased an item online it can be returned by sending it back to us. When submitting a refund please contact our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org first.
We will do our best to respond within a 24 hour time period on business days with next steps of the return process.
Provide all necessary details as outlined below.
- Your order number, if known; it appears on the top of your order confirmation email
- Your name and address
- A description of the issue with the item that you are returning
- Whether you would prefer a refund or exchange
- There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Once your exchange is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange.
If you are approved, then your exchange/credit will be processed.
Exchanges will usually take 2-3 working days to process. If you haven’t received your credit note after one week please contact us at email@example.com

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless that item was damaged when received, in which case we will cover the cost of shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
