Road Runner Sleeper Bikepacking Saddle Bag
Our Bikepacking Saddle Bag is 100% handmade in the USA and features:
-
8.5L and Weatherproof
-
Stiff/No Sway Core
-
1000D Cordura Brand Material
-
Underside Skid Plate
-
12oz Dry Weight
When the bag is open, you can see the sheer size, and because of its roll-top feature, this bag can be compressed down to a 2L pack, making it an ideal choice for adventure riders, bike packers, and daily commuters.
The bag is compressed closed using a 3/4″ webbing strap with a YKK side release buckle. This strap works exceptionally well to attach thin items to the top of the bag, for instance, a pair of sandals or a packable layer.
Some of this bag’s critical features are its tough material choice and the use of Mega Grip fabric everywhere the bag touches the seat post, PVC-coated webbing for the seat rail straps, and new YKK Movable Bar Buckles for the side compression straps.
The bag has a reinforced base through a vinyl “Skid Plate” to protect the bag from the muck, mud, and rear tire. The vinyl base is essential for those with Dropper Seat Posts and minimal rear tire clearance.

Install:
This bag is a quick and easy install on any saddle and seat post.
1. Lightly attach the velcro seat post strap, then loop the buckles through your saddle rails. Now adjust the seat post strap so it is nice and snug. Now you can go back and tighten the saddle rail straps.
2. Closing the bag is just as easy: fold the sides and begin rolling the bag toward the saddle. Once you’ve compressed the bag, close the roll top using the side release buckle. Lastly, pull the main compression strap up and buckle it closed, all while compressing and tightening the strap. Again, you want the bag compressed to eliminate sway and sag. For best results, squeeze and pack your items inside the bag before compressing the roll top.
