Here at Action Bicycle Club we love custom! Check out our latest custom build below, the Soma Wolverine. A bike designed for the adventure!

The Soma Wolverine is the frame for do-it-all on and off-road touring as well as adventure and gravel riding making it the perfect frame option to tackle the terrain of New Zealand.

The geometry is stable enough for off road touring, but sporty enough for all-around adventure and gravel riding. With its sliding dropouts, you can run single-speed, derailleur gearing or hub gearing. With a split seat-stay, it is compatible with the Gates Carbon Belt Drive making it a great option to get off the beaten track.

When heading off-road tire clearance is always important. Clearance for the Soma Wolverine frame is 700x45c tires with fenders.

Built for a shorter rider we used 650B DT Swiss rims with Continential Terra Speed CX tyres, these are a great option for getting off-road, on deep gravel or exploring in the wild. Having enough grip and width in your tires is important to having a safe and enjoyable ride when you’re on an adventure.

Outfitted with a 42T Shimano Deore series and a sub compact 42/30 FSA crankset, perfect for keeping speed but also tackling New Zealands long off-road climbs out there.
